This text document tells you how to run the map on Portal 2 and covers how
to play it also since this map isn't a puzzle,it's a compition.

First things first, running the map: Go to your "Steam" folder in
Program Files, then go to "steamapps," go into your "common" folder,
the "portal 2" folder should be there so open it up, there is another
"portal2" folder so double click that one also, now you should see a
bunch of folders, click the one that says "maps" on it. Copy and Paste the
zip folder in the "maps" folder. Ok, this is where you extract the
"Capture the Cube.zip." Right-click the zip and select "Extract All,"
a window should pop up, click next, it asks you where to put the files.
Since the zip is in you "maps" folder, you don't have to worry about about
browsing where to put the files so just click next.

Ok, now the map should be accessable though Portal 2 now. Launch Portal 2.
You need to bring up the "Developer's Console" in the game in order to play
the map. So when in-game, go to Options, Keyboard/Mouse, Advanced Options,
then check the "Enable Developer's Console" box. To bring up the "Console,"
press the "~" key under the "escape" button on your keyboard. To test to
make sure the map works, type "ss_map mp_coop_ctc". Since this map is a
co-op map and you just testing it, the screen will be split, so don't
freak out. If the map does load, then you installed it correctly, if it
doesn't, then maybe you skipped a step or I forgot to inculde a step but
that's unlikely.

By the way, if your planning to play this map with someone, the other
person has to download this map also. When both players have this
map, the player that's hosting the game (the player playing as Atlas/Blue)
should type "map mp_coop_ctc" in the console while in the HUB. Now both
players should be in the map.

Ok, now that you can play the map with someone, It's time I explain the
main rules of Capture the Cube.

There are 3 rooms:
The Center Area divides the map and has an Emancipation Grid at the
center. It's also has 2 posters that show which character's side they have.

Atlas/Blue's Room is the room closest to the Atlas/Blue poster, only
Atlas/Blue can activate buttons in this room. There is a "not so hidden"
access to a second floor also.

P-Body/Orange's Room is the room closest to the P-Body/Orange poster, only
P-Body/Orange can activate buttons in this room. There is a "not so hidden"
access to a second floor also.

The main goal of this map is to hide your Cube, and to find and
Emancipate your opponants Cube using the Emancipation Grid in the Center Area.
Sounds pretty simple right? Well, you can also create turrets to gaurd areas
using the Turret Maker near the enterance to the player's rooms. Each player
can create 5 turrets to set up. If a turret get tipped over and breaks, use
the Turret Disposer next to the Turret Maker to get rid of it. The Turret
Maker won't create anymore turrets even if the Turrets are broken, you must
dispose broken turrets before you can replace them.

Let your opponant know when your done setting your side up and ready to
find their Cube.

That's all you need to know. If you have any questions, concerns, etc. let me
